By subscribing to or using our SMS Services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not sign up for or use our Service.
1. Types of Messages You Can Expect to Receive
By providing your phone number to us, you consent to receive SMS communications from South Coast Community Services. You may receive the following types of messages, depending on your interaction with our services:
- Transactional Messages: Appointment confirmations, reminders, or follow-up messages related to the services you or your dependents receive.
- Account-Related Messages: Notifications such as billing updates or account status information.
- Public Service Announcements (PSAs): Important community updates, program availability, or mental health alerts relevant to your engagement with our services.
2. Texting Cadence
Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with our organization and the services you are using. You may receive messages occasionally or regularly, depending on the needs of communication. Message frequency is subject to change.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. South Coast Community Services is not responsible for any charges incurred by receiving our text messages. Please check with your mobile provider for details about your plan.
4. Opting In
By providing your phone number through our website, in-person forms, or other sign-up methods, you consent to receive SMS messages as outlined above. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of receiving care or any services.
5. Opting Out
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message we send. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive messages unless you opt back in. To opt back in, simply reply “START.” For assistance, reply “HELP.”
